Enough talk about IOS 6. There is one other new products are very attractive at WWDC 2012 event, the MacBook Pro. In this latest version, Apple adds Retina Display with an increasing range of hardware.
Retina Display is similar to that already used on their tablets, The New iPad. In addition to making a sharper display, the feature will be very indulgent eye of the user.
Quoted from IGN, Tuesday (12/6), 15.4-inch screen on the MacBook Pro has a resolution of 2800x1880 with 220 ppi. In addition, this screen displays a deeper black color, perspective or a better view angle, and reduce the reflection of light by 75 percent.
In order to maximize the screen, Apple has to update some applications, like Mail, Safari, iMovie, and iPhoto.
Talk to hardware, the latest MacBook Pro loaded with an Intel Core i5 and i7 Ivy Bridge with Nvidia GeForce graphics card option GT 650m. Battery life is claimed to achieve 7 hours with standby time of 30 days.
Apple finally equip its notebooks with USB 3.0 ports along with two Thunderbolt port and HDMI out. Some other features such as FaceTime Camera 720P, dual microphone, backlit keyboard, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and do not forget to be presented.
Despite having a top hardware, Apple was able to package it into a chassis with a thickness of only 0.71 inches. Not much different with the MacBook Air which has a thickness of 0.54 inches.
